Chandigarh: Haryana governor Jagannath Pahadia and chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today
expressed shock and grief over the demise of noted journalist Prabhash Joshi in New Delhi late last night.
In a condolence message issued here, the governor said that Joshi was well known in Indian print media and was founding editor of Hindi daily 'Jansatta'.
The chief minister described Joshi as a seasoned writer who changed the definition of Hindi journalism.
He said that Joshi was also a prolific sports writer, political analyst and a popular television commentator who would be long remembered for his thought provoking writings and qualities of head and heart.
Both the governor and the chief minister have conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
