Teesta Setalvad, secretary of Citizens for Justice and Peace, has been summoned again by the investigating officer of the Pandarwada mass exhumation case.
She has been asked to remain present before the investigating officer at 10 am on July 18, 2011. The investigating officer, BJ Ninama, has also inform Setalvad in a letter written
to her that, on the orders of the Gujarat high court, a request for correction in the chargesheet had been filed on June 6, 2011 in the court at Lunawada.
The court had ordered to keep the correction as part of the chargesheet, and make it part of the record. A summons was earlier sent to Setalvad on June 10 along with the orders of the court but no one from Setalvad's office received it.
This is the second summons issued to Setalvad after that date.
