Top Maoist leader Kobad Ghandy today approached the Delhi High Court challenging trial court's order of allowing narco-analysis test on him.

The trial court had on October 31 allowed the Delhi police to conduct narco test on 59-year-old Ghandy after the investigating agency contended that it had not been able to elicit all the information from him despite use of all scientific methods of interrogation.

The trial court had passed the order after going through the medical report submitted by AIIMS, saying that Ghandy was medically fit to undergo the test.

Earlier, a special medical board of AIIMS had conducted the medical examination of Ghandy and submitted a report in the court, saying the politburo member of banned CPI(Maoist) can withstand the narco-analysis test.

The police had on October 20 filed an application before the court to allow it to conduct a narco test on the maoist leader.

Ghandy was arrested from the national capital in September.
