Gay man changes sex to marry but ditched

SILIGURI (WB): In a bizarre incident, a man underwent a sex change operation at the instance of his gay partner but to his shock, the latter rejected him.

Now Dipu Ghosh cannot return to his original self. Feeling betrayed, he has lodged a complaint to police who is looking for Ajit Mondal, Dipu's estranged partner.

Dipu, a resident of Rangapani near here, said in his complaint that Ajit had promised to marry him after the sex change operation.

Ajit is absconding and his parents claim to have no knowledge of their son's homosexuality.

Dipu came in contact with Ajit two years ago and they developed a homosexual relations. Later, with the help of local eunuch community, Dipu went to Mumbai and started working as a bar-girl. He now earns a modest amount every month.

"Money is not a problem for me. I am ready to give Ajit everything, a beautiful life.... (I'll) fulfill all his dreams. But he has no no right to insult my love," he told a local television channel.
