The Embassy of Switzerland on Monday said the 39-year-old woman who was gang-raped in Madhya Pradesh's Datia District recently, is recovering from her traumatic experience in New Delhi.
In a statement issued here, Switzerland's Ambassador to India, Dr. Linus von Castelmur, said: "The Embassy confirms that the victims reached New Delhi in the early hours of March 17, 2013. They were provided medical assistance on their arrival and are currently recovering.
While speaking to the Ambassador the couple expressed their readiness to fully cooperate in the ongoing investigation and identification process. They will continue to stay in India for the moment.

The woman, a cyclist, was gang-raped after she and her husband were attacked while camping in Datia District on March 15.
Police said the couple had camped out in a forest in Madhya Pradesh after cycling from the temple town of Orchha.
Their attackers beat the couple and then gang-raped the woman.They also stole the couple's mobile phone, a laptop computer and 10,000 rupees.
Since the incident, Deputy Inspector General of Police DK Arya has revealed that six people were involved in the crime and five were arrested.
The five arrested have been identified as Bhutha (25), Rampro (25), Gaza alias Brijesh (25), Vishnu (25), Kanjar Baba (20) - all residents of Kanjar Tola settlement in Jharia village.
Police said efforts were on to arrest the sixth accused, Nitin Kumar (24).
None of them have a criminal record, the police said.
Kanjar Tola is two kilometers from the place where the Swiss woman was allegedly raped and eight kilometers from the district headquarters.
