Former chief justice of India YK Sabharwal’s family suffered a setback on Friday when the Delhi high court restrained his two sons from carrying out any activity in a prime property in Lutyens’ zone till further orders are issued on October 22.

Chetan and Nitin Sabharwal are in dispute with Prime Commercial Pvt Ltd (PCPL), the highest bidder, over the Rs122-crore residential property at 7, Sikandra Road.
PCPL has challenged the sale of the property to Triveni Infrastructure and the manner in which the court had earlier granted, what it called, “undue concessions to Triveni” and deprived it entitlement under the terms of an auction to buy the property.
