Forces to vacate unauthorised land and government buildings in Jammu

Security forces have been asked to vacate land and buildings "unauthorisedly" occupied by them in Jammu division in order to implement the centrally sponsored schemes in a time bound manner, a senior officer said here.
 
Divisional commissioner of Jammu Pawan Kotwal, who convened a high level meeting with deputy commissioners of all districts of the division and representatives of security forces here yesterday, asked CRPF and BSF representatives to vacate occupied land and government buildings in various districts.
 
He asked the DCs to identify alternate sites in their respective areas so that the security forces could be shifted to new locations within stipulated time frame.
 
Kotwal also reviewed pace of work of various centrally sponsored schemes.
