Foggy conditions in parts of North India continued to disrupt train services with four trains departing from New Delhi were cancelled today and as many rescheduled.
Besides, over two dozen incoming trains were running behind schedule, a Northern Railway spokesperson said.
The cancelled trains include Magadh express to Islampur, Swatantrata Senani Express to Darbhanga, New Delhi-Amritsar Express and Kalka Mail, he said.
Incoming trains like Lichchvi Express from Samastipur and Sampoorna Kranti Express were also cancelled.
The spokesperson said last Saturday's train accidents in Uttar Pradesh also continued to hamper train movement.
The trains rescheduled are Kashi Vishwanath Express to Varanasi, Bhopal Shatabdi Express, North East Express to Guwahati and Mahananda Express to New Alipur Dwar.
Till 10am today, over two dozen incoming trains were running behind schedule — between one to 10 hours.
They include the Rajdhani express trains from Mumbai and Sealdah which were running two to three hours behind schedule and Bhahmaputra Mail and Poorva Express which were running 10 to 13 hours behind schedule.
