Flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International airport here remained normal today due to absence of fog.

"A fog-free sky has led to undisrupted flight operations at the Delhi airport for the fourth consecutive day today. The runway visibility was more than 2,000 metres, so all the flights were operating as per schedule," an airport official said.

According to the Meteorological department, the airport has not experienced fog last night and this morning, as a result of which the general visibility remained above 1,000 metres, while the runway visibility was above 2,000 metres.

Schedules of more than 1,000 flights were affected last season due to dense fog.
