Fire near high-rise building in Delhi

A fire broke out in a transformer near a high-rise building in the city on Monday  afternoon, fire brigade officials said. The blaze was reported from the transformer near the basement of Suryakiran building on Kasturba Gandhi road in Connaught Place around 12:10 pm, they said. Eight fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the blaze. The reason for the fire was not immediately known.
