Fire breaks out in Jaipur's vegetable market

A fire today broke out in Lal Kothi sabji mandi (vegetable market) area today, police said.

The fire broke out in a thatched shop near JP railway crossing which soon engulfed several shops, they said, adding that several fire tenders have been pressed into service.

The fire created panic in surrounding residential area and traffic was diverted to some other route. The market was closed on the occasion of Holi.
