A fire broke out in the strong room of a bank in central Delhi early this morning in which office records were lost, fire brigade officials said.
The blaze was reported from the branch of Punjab National Bank located in Chandni Chowk around 4.30am and eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
The fire broke out in the strong room and a lot of office records were lost, they said.
The cause of fire is suspected to be electric short circuit.
