The 15th conference of the Indo-US Air Force Executive Steering Group (ESG) began at the Southern Air Command Headquarters here today. Official sources said the three-day conference would discuss policies and exchanges on defence co-operation between the two Air Forces.
The annual conference is held alternatively in the US and India and focuses on bilateral co-operation in conducting various Indo-US subject matter expert exchanges.
The 13-member US Air Force delegation is led by Lt Gen Herbert J Carlisle, Commander 13 Air Force, USAF while the 16-member IAF delegation is headed by air marshal PK Barbora, vice chief of the Air Staff.
