The SIT team of CBI investigating the Sohrabuddin case has managed to get the investigation back on track after several months of almost no development in the case and the CBI sleuths are even gearing up to take help from international investigating agencies like FBI or Scotland Yard. The CBI has currently narrowed down its investigation on the case of the missing Kauserbi, wife of Sohrabuddin Shaikh.

A team of experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and other experts visited Illol village, where Kauserbi was allegedly killed by the cops of the DCB. Sources said that they inspected the village soil where Kauserbi's body was allegedly burnt by DG Vanzara and his subordinates.Sources said that the soil should contain human flesh. "If there are human body parts in the soil, than this can be scientifically proved, even after 20 years of the incident," an expert said. Sources also said that the soil may also be sent to international experts dealing with similar cases.

The CBI sleuths are close to revealing the theory of Kauserbi's death, which could give a new life to the investigation, which was completely side-tracked. Sources also said that the CBI has summoned the cops in Andhra Pradesh in connection with the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

Souces said that AP cop posted as state IB DIG, N Balasubramanyam, and assistant commissioner of police Balasani Sharan, were summoned. Balasubramanyam was questioned by the CBI sleuths on Wednesday, while Sharan will be queried on Thursday.
