Eight Maoists held in Bihar

Eight Naxalites of the Communist Party of India - Maoist [CPI (Maoist)] were arrested today by the police from Bahuriabarma village in Aurangabad district,police said.

Acting on information that the Maoists had assembled at the village, a police team raided the area and caught them, they said.

The Naxalites were identified as Nawal Yadav, Kamal Chandel, Kamlesh Chandravanshi, Awadh Prasad Mahto, Bindeshwar Paswan, Ramdayal Sao, Vinay Yadav and Sanjay Mishra. The arrested ultras were wanted in connection with several criminal offences.
