The Allahabad high court on Thursday reserved its judgment on the bail application of Utsav Sharma who had attacked and injured murdered Aarushi father Rajesh Talwar outside a Ghaziabad court.

Justice Shashi Kant Gupta reserved the judgment on the petition of Sharma who had moved the high court after his bail plea was turned down by a lower court on February 11 last.

Sharma had attacked Talwar with a sharp-edged weapon on January 25, almost a year after he had assaulted former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore, convicted of molesting Ruchika Girotra, outside a Panchkula court in a similar fashion.

While Rajesh Talwar and his wife Nupur have been named as accused by a court in the murder of their teenaged daughter Aarushi, Rathore is facing trial in connection with the alleged molestation of 14-year-old tennis player Ruchika who later committed suicide.
