A Delhi court today issued production warrants against three suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists, who are at present in judicial custody in Gujarat, for their alleged role in serial blasts here in 2008.

Chief metropolitan magistrate Kaveri Baweja sought the presence of Saifur Rehman, Mohd Arif and Arif Badruddin before the court on September 7.

The court directed Sabarmati jail authorities in Ahmedabad to produce the three accused who are wanted in all five cases registered in connection with serial blasts here on September 13, 2008.

A series of blasts had rocked the national capital killing 26 people and leaving 135 others injured.

While the 11 accused have been in custody of Delhi police at different point of time following their arrest, the three others have never been brought here for interrogation.

According to the police, the three accused were involved with others in hatching a conspiracy to carry out the explosions.

Meanwhile, a separate court is going to resume hearing tomorrow arguments on behalf of the IM suspects on charges being pressed against them by the Delhi police for their alleged complicity in serial blasts.
