GMR Group, which controls the Delhi International Airport Ltd,  said the Delhi high court has asked it not to collect airport development fee from domestic and international passengers at the Delhi airport.

GMR has asked airlines not to collect ADF of Rs200 per departing domestic passenger and Rs1,300 per departing international passenger at IGI Airport, New Delhi, until further communication, it said.

Airport developers such as GMR collect the ADF from airlines and use the funds for development activities.

The Airport Economic Regulatory Authority is in the process of determining new rates for ADF, GMR said.

A GMR spokesperson said it would not be possible to quantify the expected loss from the order at this point.

The group's flagship company GMR Infrastructure's shares were down 4.34% at Rs33.1 in a weak Mumbai market.
