Police today arrested 28 employees of a State Cooperative Bank here for allegedly gheraoing the bank manager demanding revocation of suspension of three of their colleagues recently.
The three employees were suspended following inquiry into a complaint by a depositor that Rs 18,000 had been withdrawn from his account using fake signature, police said.
Protesting the suspension, around 28 employees yesterday gheraoed the manager. They were arrested and later remanded to 15 days judicial custody by a local court.
