Fatehpur: A police personnel was run over by a train at Fatehpur railway station, officials said here today.

Athar Hussain, who was posted as constable at police line, was run over by the train after he accidentally slipped while boarding Magadh Express and fell on the railway track yesterday, they said.

Hussain was on his way to Allahabad when the incident occurred.
