Congress suspends Kerala leader arrested for alleged immoral activities

Congress today suspended Rajmohan Unnithan, All India Congress Committee member from Kerala, who was arrested for allegedly indulging in immoral activities and later released on bail.

Party sources here said Unnithan, who was held under the Immoral Trafficking Act, was put under suspension, and an MLA has been asked to look into the charges against him before taking any further action.

Sources said Unnithan, a former general secretary of Kerala unit of Congress, was suspended from the party earlier also.
