The Coimbatore Press Club today condemned the attack on IBN Lokmat office in Mumbai, terming it as 'barbaric and brutal one on the freedom of expression and speech.'
Though initial reports pointed fingers at Shiv Sainiks, irrespective of the organisations behind the attack, such a culture of violence as a response to any views expressed is not acceptable in any civilized and democratic society, club general secretary, KK Venkatesan said in a press release here.
