Chopper corridor at Mumbai, Delhi airports in offing

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) would soon issue a notification for a dedicated chopper corridor at Mumbai and Delhi airports.

This was announced by the director general of civil aviation, Naseem Zaidi, here today.  

The regulator also plans to hire 200 technical operators on short-term contracts by September-October, Zaidi said.
