Chiranjeevi wonders about wealth of political heirs

In a veiled attack on Congress MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi today wondered how political heirs earn crores of rupees in a few years without resorting to any irregularities.

"How can political heirs earn thousands of crores in a few years? If the money is earned in a legal and justified manner, then they should disclose that technique or formula, so that common people can benefit," said Chiranjeevi, who is touring the district as part of his 'Chaitanya yatra' to raise mass awareness on various issues of public concern.

The TDP and even some leaders have earlier alleged the Kadapa MP of corruption and irregularities.

The TDP and the Congress leaders had sought to know how the young MP earned huge wealth and established large businesses in a few years.

Congress leaders, close to Jagan, however, asserted that the allegations had been made with a political motive as Jagan's detractors were unable to digest his huge popularity among the people.
