Six persons, including a woman, were killed and 14 others injured when a bus carrying them plunged into a gorge at Basanthnagar village here in the wee hours today, police said.
The incident occured when the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus, which was on its way to Godavarikhani from Hyderabad, fell into a gorge from a narrow bridge, killing six persons, including the driver on the spot, they said.
The injured have been admitted to Singareni hospital at Godavarikhani, police added.
