BSF helicopter crashes in Raipur, three injured

The chopper came crashing from a height of 100 feet during the test flight, injuring pilot PD Tiwari and two technical officers Anand and Pankaj Pal, Superintendent of Police Diptanshu Kabra said.

A Border Security Force (BSF) helicopter crashed during a test fly at the Mana airport in Raipur injuring three persons, including the pilot, officials said.

 

The chopper came crashing from a height of 100 feet during the test flight, injuring pilot PD Tiwari and two technical officers Anand and Pankaj Pal, Superintendent of Police Diptanshu Kabra said.

 

He added that the injured have been rushed to the hospital where the condition of the pilot is critical.

 

A team of senior police officials of the state have rushed to the site and the cause behind the mishap is being ascertained, Kabra said.
