Brahma Kumaris to launch 'Future of Power' project in Ahmedabad

Spiritual organisation Brahma Kumaris will initiate discussion on the usage of power for the betterment of society through a project entitled, 'The future of power', in a one-day programme in the city on February 13. The initiative, to be launched by chief minister Narendra Modi, will comprise discussions by leaders, eminent guests and figures from different fields on power.

Altogether 50 people, 35 from Gujarat and 15 from abroad, will participate in the discussion, said Nizar Juma, who has played a crucial role in initiating this event. Over the next three years, future of power programmes will be conducted in 32 cities across the country.

Ahmedabad is the fifth city to conduct the event after Hyderabad, Chennai, Indore and Bangalore, he added.

Apart from the discussions in morning, the programme will also have a talk show in the evening. “The talk show will be in the form of an interview of those who participated in the 'future of power' discussion in the morning session,” he added.
