SharePatna: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has announced that the birth anniversary of shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan would be celebrated as a state function on March 21.
The state government would also set up a park in his memory of the Bharat Ratna with his statue here, Kumar said while releasing a book "Shehnai Vadak Bismillah Khan" here at a function last evening.
A park with his statue would also be set up at Dumraon, the birthplace of the shehnai player, he said.
