A Barodian, Vilas Jadhav, on Saturday morning set out on a padyatra from this city to Siddhi Vinayak temple in Mumbai for the speedy recovery of chief minister Narendra Modi , who is currently suffering from H1N1. Jadhav started his journey from the famous Siddhi Vinayak temple located at Dandia Bazaar.

Like the residents of other cities across the state who offered prayers and organised pujas on Friday for early recovery of Modi, Barodians also conducted prayers at various temples. People also organised special pujas at Shiv temples on Saturday.

But a strong fan of Modi and party worker, Vilas Jadhav, a resident of Dandia Bazaar, decided to go on a religious walk to Siddhi Vinayak temple in  Mumbai. Jadhav told DNA, “ When I came to know about the chief minister I decided to go on a padyatra to Siddhi Vinayak temple in Mumbai . I am a great devotee of Lord Ganesha and I have faith that the deity will bring about a speedy recovery of the CM.”
