Tripura chief minister Manik Sarkar has been invited by Bangladesh to attend the celebrations of National day of the neighbouring country on March 26, official sources said today.
Sources in Civil Secretariat here said Bangladesh foreign minister Dipu Moni sent a letter to Sarkar inviting him to
attend the celebrations as a special guest.
The letter was received on Tuesday, sources said.
It has not yet been said whether Sarkar would attend the function, officials said.
