NEW DELHI: As communal violence continued in Orissa, noted social activist Teesta Setalvad on Wednesday termed the attacks, allegedly perpetrated by VHP and Bajrang Dal activists, were "nothing short of terrorism" and demanded a ban on the outfits.

"The violence by VHP and Bajrang Dal against religious minorities in Orissa shows that these are violent terror outfits," Setalwad said.

Asked whether the two Sangh Parivar outfits should be banned on the lines of SIMI, she said "Sunday's Kanpur blast proves that there is no difference between SIMI and the right wing organisations".

"The Kanpur explosion shows that these groups are also specialising in bomb blasts. It is part of a greater conspiracy to spread communal tensions. SIMI is banned for the same and hence Bajrang Dal and its affiliates should also be banned," Setalwad said.

Fanatical activist Teesta Setalwad was found to be lying about the Gujarat riots. She apparently cooked up stories about riots and the complicity of the state machinery. All the affidavits came from a single computer and people who signed them did not know what they were signing. Some people did not even know they had given affidavits. Let us see what happens now.

It's about time we banned Teesta for rigging up incidents. As on April 14, 2009, she stands guilty of making things up. She needs to be jailed for it. Same with the secular media for drumming it up.

there is no secular party in india at all .. those secular parties who claim them as secular are anti hindus..i suggest vhp, bajrang dal people to target them who are hindus and anti hindus itself. those secularists sell their religion for those minorities.now a days many hindus who were out of their senses have also understood how those secularists are going the anti hindu way.the fathers of churches who behave as saints come to hindu houses and brainwash the hindus who are in problems and tell that what your gods have done .. belive in our god he will save u and tell them to take their chanis and tilaks.is it fair .. we hindus should understand these things

VHP,RSS Bajrang dal have proved themselves to be terrorists by attacking innocent people. They are no better than SIMI and should be banned. They are not even Hindus but misguided by false Godmen who instigate them in negative activity.

The Thinker.
As a true Indian my feeling is that any Outfit that targets a caste, religion, sect people should be banned. India is a Sovereign Democratic Republic Country & if these people cannot tolerate it let them get out of India.

If they are fighting the same group of dacoits who attack a village like Mr. Jay Sharma says, why do they not kill the same people who killed their so called leader, and go about killing innocent humans...........
