It seems that 7-month-old Bhoomi has to spend some more time in the orphanage, as railway police have confirmed that Shaheda is not Bhoomi's mother.

To verify the claims of Shaheda, railway police officials went to Mumbai and met the neighbours and relatives two days back. The police came to this conclusion after the DNA test was negative. Baby Bhoomi was found abandoned in the S1 coach of Janmabhoomi Express, two weeks back at Kalupur station.

After two days of investigation, railway police officials learned that Shaheda is not Bhoomi's mother.

Also, she apparently hasn't conspired to get the girl, as her own daughter is also missing and her looks resemble Bhoomi's. After talking to neighbours and relatives of Shaheda in Mumbai, Government Railway Police (GRP) learned that Shaheda's missing daughter looks exactly like Bhoomi, which led to the confusion. Police officials also checked the hospital where Shaheda gave birth to her daughter, in December.

According to GRP inspector PP Pirozia, the hospital records further confirmed that Shaheda gave birth to a baby girl in December, which means that the girl must be around 4 months old now, while Bhoomi is around 7 months old.

"Based on these facts, even Shaheda accepted that Bhoomi is not her daughter," said Pirozia after returning to Ahmedabad from Mumbai. Investigation also revealed that Shaheda's 4-month-old daughter went missing in the same period when Bhoomi was found abandoned in the S1 coach of Janmabhoomi Express at Kalupur station.

Meanwhile, another resident of Mumbai called the railway police and claimed that Bhoomi could be his daughter, as his wife is missing with their daughter. However, that person once again called the cops and informed them that he found his wife and daughter in Mumbai on Thursday.

According to Pirozia, all hopes now rest on passengers who were traveling in the Janmabhoomi Express. "But, it is a long process to get the details, as these passengers booked their trains from different locations, like Jaipur and Delhi," said Pirozia.
