Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi today visted Dadasaheb Phalke awardee Dr Bhupen Hazarika at his residence here and had lunch with the music legend.
Accompanied by his wife Dolly Gogoi, the chief minister greeted the octogenarian artiste at his Nizarapar residence with a `gamocha' (traditional Assamese scarf) and a bouquet of flowers.
Discussing various topics with him, Gogoi wished Hazarika a long and healthy live.
The cultural doyen also gifted the chief minister with an album of his songs.
