Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot today termed as "baseless", the allegations made by the BJP and RSS that the government was influencing the Ajmer Dargah blast case probe.

"This is completely baseless that the government of Rajasthan was trying to influence the investigation of 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast case under any pressure from 10 Janpath," Gehlot told reporters here.

Gehlot said the ruling party at the Centre "never interferes in such cases".

BJP and the RSS have alleged that inclusion of Sangh leader Indresh Kumar's name in the Ajmer blast chargesheet was a "political conspiracy" and have accused the Congress of having a hand in framing these charges.

On the ruling party's influence, Gehlot said "Even when Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi visit Ranthambore, we are never asked to treat them like VVIPs. We are informed that they behave like common visitors there".

Gehlot was leaving to Dausa to monitor execution of revenue campaign which began today across the state.

The CM said the public grievance will be redressed on the spot at all the Panchayat headquarters in the campaign which will continue till December 31.
