Arms smuggler arrested in UP

Muzaffarnagar: A smuggler allegedly involved in illegal supply of foreign-made arms was arrested in the district, police said here.

Police arrested Mehboob and recovered three Chinese made pistols and four magazines from his possession at Saharanpur in the district yesterday.

The accused used to smuggle illegal arms in Western UP via Nepal border, they said.
