In a complaint to Vastrapur police, a senior officer of the Indian Air Force has alleged that someone broke the window glass of his car and fled with a bag which contained important documents,
including a firearms licence.

Rajendrasingh Nadar, 48, works as Planning Director in the engineering department of IAF's Sothern Western Air Command (SWAC) headquarters in Gandhingar. On Thursday night at 9:45pm, Nadar, a resident of Shraddha Residency in Sabarmati, came to Memnagar to meet his friend Jayesh Patel, who lives at Navneedhi Avenue. Nadar parked his car on the road outside the building and hung his bag on the driver's seat before locking the car.

When Nadar returned after some time, he found that someone had broken the window glass of the car and stole the bag containing debit and credit cards of several banks, cheque books, pass books and the firearms licence for his revolver.

Nadar filed a complaint at Vastrapur police against the unidentified thieves. Police said investigation into the matter is going on.
