Nearly 10,000 people visited the 'Divya Property Expo-2012' on Sunday, the last day of the two-day property show organised by Divya Bhaskar at Rajpath Club in Ahmedabad.

The property show gave a unique platform to property ‘hunters', investors and end-users exposing them to a variety of realty schemes in the city. This was the sixth edition of the property show.

In all, 21 developers and three banks took part in the expo, offering visitors a wide choice of properties for purchase. Many visitors were heard praising the schemes on display and the stalls put up at the exhibition.

Dimple Pancholi, a working woman, said she had finally found what she had been looking for, thanks to the property expo.

"I wanted to have face-to-face discussions with developers so that I could get answers to my queries from them. I have almost decided to invest in one of the schemes displayed at the expo," Pancholi said.

Expressing a similar opinion, Pravin Modh, a tax lawyer, said the exhibition had helped him zero in on a property in which he has decided to invest.

"I was looking for some property in which I could invest. I got guidance and information about different schemes and properties, all at one place. This has cut the need to visit different places and make enquiries about different properties. This is the third time that I'm coming to this fair and I must say that it was indeed very informative," the lawyer said.

Comparing this year's show with the expo last year, a visitor, Ravi Kaneria, said this year's fair was helpful to middle class people like him.

"I liked this year's exhibition. Last year, developers participating in the expo had properties which were beyond the purchasing capacity of the average middle class person. But this year, there were good schemes for middle class people. I've short-listed a few which are available for Rs20-30 lakh," Kaneria said.
