Adulterated milk recovered from a man arrested in Uttar Pradesh

One person was arrested and 650litres of adulterated milk was recovered from his possession at Fatehpur village in the district today, police said.
    
The accused, Dinesh was arrested during a police raid at a house in the village, they said, adding that the two other accused were absconding. Dinesh, confessed that the trio used to supply 2000litres of adulterated milk to the nearby areas, they said. Besides adulterated milk the police also recovered synthetic powder, refined oil and other ingredients from the spot.
    
District-wide raids are being conducted to check the supply and usage of tampered milk during the on-going festive season.
