21 Indian students return from violence-hit Kyrgyzstan

Southern parts of Kyrgyzstan, particularly Osh and Jalal-Abad have been witnessing ethnic violence between Kyrgyz and minority Uzbeks since past one week.

A group of 21 Indian students, who were evacuated from trouble-torn southern Kyrgyzstan, returned here tonight.
    
A total of 105 Indian nationals were flown out of trouble-torn southern Kyrgyz cities of Osh and Jalal-Abad to capital Bishkek a few days back.
    
Southern parts of Kyrgyzstan, particularly Osh and Jalal-Abad have been witnessing ethnic violence between Kyrgyz and minority Uzbeks since past one week in which 120 people have died and another 1,600 people injured.
    
The violence has led to large-scale migration of ethnic Uzbeks and the Kyrgyzstan government has appealed for international help to deal with the problem.
