Patna:

Ridiculing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his statement that the recent bypolls to 18 assembly constituencies in Bihar was 'nothing but a practice match', RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today claimed people have now made up their mind to bid farewell to the former in 2010.

"It is absolutely ridiculous to treat the recent by poll in Bihar as a practice match...We take it as semi-final as people have already made up their mind to bid farewell to Nitish Kumar in 2010 Assembly elections," Prasad told reporters here.

Alleging that the chief minister had done 'mastery in making false promises and lies', the RJD leader said, "majority of promises made by Kumar has remained far from turning into a reality and corruption is all pervasive in the state".

Kumar had ridiculed the opposition for flaunting their performance in the bypoll and had said the NDA treated the bypoll as 'a practice match' and the alliance would come with flying colours in the 'finals' (2010 Assembly polls).
