2 commit suicide over love affair in Uttar Pradesh

A woman and her brother-in-law allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison for having an illicit relationship, police said today.

Sadhna Singh, 20, and her brother-in-law Ravikant, 22, consumed the substance yesterday in Jamaniya area and later died during treatment at a hospital, they said.

The two took the extreme step after the family members came to know about the relationship, they added.
