The Border Security Force has in a report to the Home Ministry revealed that Pakistan is engaged in strengthening its defence preparedness along border areas adjacent to India.

According to the report, Pakistan has set up two new arms reserves in Rajasthan's Ramim Yar Khan district adjacent to Bahawalnagar and Jaisalmer. The report also adds that Pakistan has set up a helipad in the camp of one of the reserves to aid soldiers in any way possible.

The arms reserves are 37 kilometres away from the Pakistan border, and along with the reserves Pakistan has also built several bunkers from where they will be able to quickly retrieve weapons.

China has for the past several years been engaged in mordernising the Pakistan Army. Through China’s 800-km Optical Fibre Cable Project, China has supplied missiles and warships to Rawalpindi from where it then reaches the Pakistan Army.

In another report, it has been claimed that the ISI has established thermal imaging on the border of India and Pakistan

To circumvent the device, ISI has given thermal jackets to terrorists. These jackets will ensure that terrorists can cross the border with great ease.  Security agencies have become alert since this report of intelligence agencies

In the second report, which was also sent to the Home Ministry, it was claimed that ISI has also provided anti-thermal jackets to those special units of Pakistan Army who are present along the border. These jackets make it difficult to be spotted using night vision glasses.

The report said a few months ago when Pakistan Army violated ceasefire along the border, they fired at BSF at close range. The action of Pakistani rangers was not captured in BSF’s night vision device, but after carefully studying the video, it was found that the rangers were firing very close to the BSF, and that the jackets were protecting them.
