Zee conclave to discuss state of economy today

Industry stalwarts, along with various government ministers will come under one roof on Wednesday to discuss the Indian state of economy and the way forward.

The Ministerial Conclave has been organised by Zee Business and boasts of Roads, Transport and Highways minister Nitin Gadkari, Minister of state for Environment Mahesh Sharma, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, Minister for Youth and Sports Col Rajyavardhan Rathore and Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia as notable speakers. The event will also be attended by other senior executives from the industry.

In September, PM Narendra Modi constituted a five-member Economic Advisory Council (EAC) headed by Niti Aayog member, Bibek Debroy.

Since 2016, GDP growth has fallen for six consecutive quarters, dipping to three-year low of 5.7 per cent in the April-June quarter with India losing the fastest growing economy tag to China for the second straight quarter.
