Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi on Friday faced a huge backlash on Twitter when she said that you fail as a nation when actor is mourned than a jawan who died in Kupwara attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
Actor and politician Vinod Khanna (70) died of cancer at a hospital in Mumbai, on Thursday. Whereas Captain Ayush Yadav and two soldiers were killed when terrorists stormed an army camp in Kupwara.
Taking to micro-blogging site, Bedi said, "U fail as a nation when 70yrs old #VinodKhanna is mourned MORE than 25 yrs old Capt Ayush Yadav who lost his life at #Kupwara."
Bedi also tagged renowned spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev in her tweet. Her tweet was shared over two thousand times and liked by over three thousand twitter users.

However, her Tweet did not go well with several users, who lashed out at her for comparing Vinod Khanna and Captain Ayush Yadav.
@thekiranbedi @SadhguruJV We fail as a nation when we compare two sons of the India & their contributions-objectifying their service is insulting them after death

@gemstonesindia @vipsriv @thekiranbedi Working 19 hours does not give anyone the right to point fingers on everybody else.We all have our roles in nation building so don't compare

@thekiranbedi @SadhguruJV A very foolish statement! Is there a relation between the two? He died for the call of the nation, so we bow our heads and grieve the life.
