The AAP's National Executive on Wednesday decided not to have Yogendra Yadav in the party's key Political Affairs Committee, days after he and Prashant Bhushan questioned the functioning of party chief Arvind Kejriwal.

"Apart from not being in the PAC he will also not be the party spokesperson anymore," a party source said. Asked whether the National Executive has taken a decision on Kejriwal's resignation, another party leader said, "no".

According to sources, Yadav came under attack in the meeting for allegedly leaking information to a reporter which was later used in a column.

"A section of the party leaders attacked Yadav accusing him of leaking information for an article that was published in a national daily," a source said.

Before the meeting, Yadav sounded a reconciliatory tone terming the crisis as an "opportunity" adding that he will not quit.

"The crisis that you are talking about is an opportunity for us (AAP). Everything will be clear by this evening," he told reporters on reaching the venue of the meeting.
