Expressing displeasure over lack of air connectivity, BJP MLA Bhawani Singh Rajawat on Sunday said that he will not allow Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aircraft to land in Kota.
Rajawat made remarks during the inauguration of a post office passport seva kendra (POPSK).
"Let us decide that we will not let aircraft of VIPs land in Kota even if the aircraft of Prime Minister arrives," he said.
Stating that the leaders think there is air-service in Kota, Rajawat says,"The service is meant only for leader as only small aircraft of political leaders can land here."
"They (political leaders) should realise that there is no air service in Kota," he added.
According to Hindustan Times, Rajawat also asked what would people they do with the passport centre if there were no flights at the airport in the town.
