A woman’s marriage ended in UP after she participated in a rally thanking PM Modi for raising his voice against the evil practice of ‘triple talaq’.
Fayra’s husband was so incensed by her attending the rally, that he gave her instant divorce and forced her to leave the residence with their son, reported ABP News.
The rally was organised by Farhat Naqvi, Union Minister Mukhtar Naqvi’s sister who is a social activist and runs an NGO.
Fayra claimed Danish was having an illicit relationship with his aunt and that he used the rally as a convenient excuse to get rid of her. She also said the police hadn’t paid heed to her complaint, following which she approached Farhat Naqvi who assured her help.
Fayra and Danish got married in April 2016.
