Woman from Northeast molested in Gurgaon

 A 20-year-old woman from the Northeast was allegedly molested by a fashion boutique staffer in a shopping centre on Sohna Road, police said on Wednesday.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening when the woman, hailing from Manipur, had gone to the fashion boutique on Sohna Road to pick up her clothes. In her complaint, she alleged that the staff at the boutique molested her and threatened her with dire consequences.

A case has been registered at Sadar police station under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC, the spokesman said, adding police are probing into the case.
