Her husband called the 108 ambulance at around 2 am. The ambulance reached the spot within 40 minutes. This is yet another incident in which a woman delivered a baby outside the hospital.  Health experts attribute most of these incidents to the delay in the decision by family members of the pregnant woman that results in a delivery before she could be reached or admitted to any health facility. Recently, three incidents of ‘open sky delivery’ were reported last month in Jhunjhunu, Behror and Barmer.
