Woman burnt alive for dowry in Muzzaffarnagar

A 35-year-old woman named Nutah was burnt alive by her husband and in-laws over dowry demands at Lachera village in Muzaffarnagar.

In an FIR report  filed by the victim's father, her husband Sidharth and mother-in-law Chader Devi were harassing her for dowry.According to police, when the victim refused to pay more, her in-laws poured kerosene on her and set her ablaze on Wednesday.

A case has been registered against Sidharth and his mother while the victims body has been sent for post-mortem for furtrher investighation.
